Fieldparcel

Privacy Policy

This explains how Fieldparcel and its affiliates (we call ourselves "Company", "we", "us") collect, use, and share your personal and non-personal information. We're talking about everything that comes through our platform, apps, websites, and services. When you use any of this, you're agreeing to this policy and consenting to how we handle your data. Our Terms of Service govern this too.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We collect your personal information whenever you use the platform, interact with us, or work with third parties like payment processors (Stripe, PayPal), authentication partners, and analytics providers. Your information might include your name, how to reach you, company details, device IP address, unique device identifiers, billing information, where you are geographically, cookies, and what you prefer. We also collect work-related data like project timelines, task progress, who's assigned to what, and activity logs. Sometimes we grab non-personal technical details about your device and software. We might mix this with information from third-party partners or service providers.

COOKIES

We and third parties working with us use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and local storage to save or access information on your browser or device. This helps us remember what you like and figure out how you're using the Services.

WHAT TECHNOLOGIES WE USE

Cookies are small files on your device that remember your preferences and help us see how you interact with our Services. Web beacons and pixel tags are tiny code snippets embedded in pages. They collect information about visits, how long you stay, and what browser you're using. Helps us track engagement. Local storage and HTML5 storage work like cookies but live separately and usually aren't controlled through your browser settings. If you want to manage browser storage, check your browser's documentation.

PURPOSE FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We process your information to: — Build, deliver, keep running, and improve the platform and services; — Help you succeed and manage our relationship with you; — Run analytics, stop fraud, and make things work better; — Create usage statistics and let teams communicate; — Process payments and provide technical support; — Keep you in the loop about what we're doing; — Follow the law, respond when courts or authorities ask, and protect ourselves; — Handle business transitions like mergers or selling assets; — Start or defend legal claims. We sometimes mix information we collect with data from third-party partners.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Anything you post in public areas (team channels, comments, shared projects) is visible to other users. If you connect your account to an external service, you're authorizing us to share information with that platform. Their privacy policy controls how they use it.

INFORMATION SHARING

We share your information with service providers who handle payments, host data, send notifications, or analyze how you use things. Same goes for partners who provide supporting services. There are other situations where we share: (a) Legal compliance — when law requires it, a court orders it, or we need to protect rights, prevent fraud, or respond to government requests. (b) Business transitions — if we merge, get acquired, or sell assets, your information transfers too. (c) De-identified data — we can share this with anyone without restrictions.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL INFORMATION

Your consent is the main reason we process your information. We might use other legal reasons too if the law requires it. You can withdraw consent anytime by contacting our Privacy Officer. That doesn't affect anything we already did with your data.

RETENTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We keep your information as long as we need it for what this policy describes or what the law demands. Once you close your account, we only hold onto data for legal or operational reasons.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

We might disclose information to third-party service providers, affiliated companies, law enforcement, legal advisors, or whoever the law says we have to. We don't use or share your information for anything beyond what we've said here without asking you first.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask us to stop sending you communications, show you your information, or quit receiving updates. Just contact our Privacy Officer. Depending on your location's privacy laws, you might also be able to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data. Contact our Privacy Officer to request this. Keep in mind that opting out of marketing doesn't stop service or account notifications.

PRIVACY OF CHILDREN

We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16 without parental consent. If you think we have it, tell our Privacy Officer and we'll delete it right away.

SECURITY

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. We limit who can see it to people who actually need to. That said, nothing online is completely secure. We can't promise your information won't be compromised in transmission.

COMPLAINTS

Send written complaints to our Privacy Officer at info@fieldparcel.site. We'll look into it and get back to you in reasonable time. You can also file a complaint with a supervisory authority where you live.

"DO NOT TRACK"

We don't recognize or respond to Do Not Track signals from browsers. Want to learn more about it? Check allaboutdnt.com.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFER

We run our Services from Canada and the United States. We also use third-party providers who might process data outside the EEA. When they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. By using our Services, you're okay with us transferring and processing your information in Canada, the United States, or other places where privacy laws might be different from yours.

LINKS

We're not responsible for how third-party websites or apps linked from our Services handle privacy. This policy only covers information we collect through our platform.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We can update this anytime. If you keep using our Services after we make changes, that means you accept the new version.
